Sepoys Defeat Rebels in Series Opener
The Lucknow Sepoys down the Air Tech Mechanical Bantam Rebels 4-1 in the opening game of their OMHA Playdown series.
The Rebels got the start they wanted when Matt buried one from the high slot at the 5:03 mark of period 1. Braden and Josh assisted. The lead was short lived as the Sepoys responded 2 minutes later with a Craig Murray goal. Three goals in the second period (C. Murray, K. Murray, C. Smits) sent the Sepoys into the break with a 4-1 lead. The Rebels came out hard in the third but were unable to beat the Sepoys goaltender.
Shots on goal favored the Rebels by a 27-17 margin.
