PayBack in Walkerton
The Air Tech Mechanical Bantam Rebels travelled to Walkerton Monday night with their sights set on avenging a previous loss that knocked them out of contention for the WOAA Lockridge championship.

The Rebels settled the score with a hard fought 1-0 victory.  Both sides had quality scoring opportunities but both goaltenders made some big saves.  Ty flashed the leather to rob the Walkerton D-Man who tried to blast a howitzer past him and the Capitals tender stopped Nate and James on breakaways.  James however would get another opportunity in the 3rd.  With 5:19 remaining in the game, James took a pass from Nate and his slapshot got under the tenders pad and found the back of the net.  The Capitals pulled their goalie to try to get the equalizer but the boys held off the late charge to earn the victory.  All the boys played well and it was good to have Alex K back in the lineup.
The boys finish their round robin play 6 pm Tuesday, at home, against the Bruce Peninsula Predators.
