Regular Season Finale ends in a Tie
The Air Tech Mechanical Bantams wrapped up their WOAA regular season Saturday afternoon with a 3-3 against the Lucknow Sepoys.
The Sepoys opened the scoring when Clay Smits beat Ty with a hard slapshot. The Rebels responded quickly as Nate put James' rebound into the back of the net. James put the boys up by 1 heading into the third when he also beat the Sepoy tender with a rebound goal, assists going to Nate and Matt.
The Rebels came out slowly to start the third and the Sepoys took advantage, scoring 2 goals in the first 5 minutes. The boys picked up their game and tied it with 5 minutes left when Branson scored short-side. Assists to Owen and Matt. Both teams were determined to win and both goalies had to come up with some nice saves to leave the game tied.
Next action will be the OMHA Playdowns against Shallow Lake.
