SS Game 1: Frook ties it up with .54 left!
Your TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee C Rebels had a great start in Silver Stick action this afternoon in Southampton,

the Waterloo Ravens started scoring early in the first period as they put in 2 quick goals past net minder Carly Juby. Following goal #2 - Gabby McNabb got mad- winning the faceoff and passing a beauty puck to Tristin Brown merely 8 seconds after the puck dropped at center ice.
With the Rebels starting the second period down by a goal, -the Ravens took advantage of a quick rebound on Juby to pull ahead by 2 goals ending period 2.
Our Ladies were far from down an out as they opened the scoring midway through the 3rd when Kirstyn Sutter found the back of the net assisted by Grace Kivell. A quick reply by the Ravens turned the game to 4-2 with just under 5 min left to play.
The girls wouldn't give up as Sutter netted her second of the game assisted by Kivell and Brontae Frook.

The Rebels pulled their goalie in the dying seconds of the third to add an extra attacker. The girls wouldn't give up around the Ravens Net as they dug hard seeing Frook push the tying goal in past the goalie. Assists going to Sutter and Kivell.

Sutter received the game MVP

These Ladies worked hard on the Ice to come away with a tie in their first game of the Tournament. These Rebels  face off tomorrow @ 9:15 at the Plex when they host their League rivals West Grey.

Good Luck Ladies!
