Undefeated White Division WOAA Year End Tournament Champions!
Your Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 PeeWee Girls C brought home the GOLD medal win in their year end tournament yesterday.

In their closest match of tournament play, the REBELS took the win 3-1 over Lucknow/Wingham Sepoys.

On what almost became a disputed first goal in the second - the crowd was quick to support the top shelf cross bar dinger that Gabby McNabb fired in past goal tender Chasity Murray - so a brief discussion resulted in the ref clearly indicating to the crowd that McNabb's goal was GOOD!!!

Less than one minute later, Sara Boulter would make a nice pass to Brontae Frook who would add another goal to our side of the scoreboard.  So the ladies would go into their final period of play winning 2-0.

The Sepoys fought hard to drop a puck in past Goalie Carly Juby early in the third - assist going to Avery Perrier, scored by Jordyn Stutzman.  However, the REBELS were quick to respond when Tristin Brown decided it was her turn to take a breakaway and push the puck past Murray which would become the final goal of the game.

Congratulations Girls on a fabulous win and a tremendous year.

The girls will take on a team of family members this Tuesday in Keady for their year end wrap-up.

And lastly - for a team I have seen give everything they could all season long, listen to a wonderful set of coaches and make their parents proud ...
