What a Day for a WIN in West Grey!!!!
Your TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Pee Wee Girls C traveled to Ayton for an exhibition playdown with their league rivals - West Grey.

Goalie Jadzia Leask played an amazing game in net - holding off scoring by West Grey until halfway through the third period when Sara Becker found the back of the Rebels net - assisted by Keira Walden & Halie Tanner.

But hold the phone - although our girls didn't score in the third they did add points to their side of the board in the second period.
Starting off our scoring was Gabby McNabb on a strategically placed unassisted goal early in the period.  Then shortly before the buzzer would announce the end of the period Tristin  Brown dumped one in past netminder  Olivia Schlosser - assists going to McNabb & Grace Kivell. These girls fought hard and brought home a 2-1 win - their first win against West Grey this season. What a game ladies!

The girls will hit the ice for their year end tournament this weekend at the Howick arena on Saturday - puck drop at 9:40am ... Shoot to score ladies & Good Luck!

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
