PEEWEE GIRLS LEAD SERIES WITH 3 PTS
Back to back games so far this week for the TCDMHA “Chatsworth Legion Branch 464” Pee Wee C Girls.  Monday night we travelled to Milverton to play game one of our series with the Royals.

After the long drive the ladies came on strong with the opening goal scored by Rachel Mallette (assisted by Renee Farrow & Erica McComb).  With a tie game heading into the third the Rebels battled hard and once again Rachel Mallette was able to find the back of the net with goal number two of the night giving the Rebels the 2:1 victory!

On Tuesday night in front of a packed house, the Rebels hosted Milverton at the Keady arena.  On a power play the Rebels pulled ahead early with a goal only 2 minutes after the opening faceoff.  Erica McComb scored the goal with Kassey Mustard & Rachel Mallette assisting.  Milverton was able to answer back and despite an AWESOME effort by the Rebels we could not get on the score board one more time.  The game ended in a 1:1 tie forcing a game three for these two teams.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR TCDMHA FAMILY FOR COMING OUT TO CHEER ON THE PEE WEE GIRLS... SEEING ALL THOSE REBEL JERSEY'S IN THE HOUSE WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

The pee wee’s will now travel to Listowel on Thursday to determine who will take that final spot in the pee wee “c” provincial championship tournament!!

Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
