WOAA Maroon Division PeeWee Girls Champs!!!
The TCDMHA “Chatsworth Legion Branch 464” Pee Wee C Girls are the 2012-2013 W.O.A.A. Pee Wee Girls CHAMPS!!!!!

Sixteen dedicated and hardworking young ladies have finally had all their efforts pay off with an exciting WIN to end the 2012-2013 season!

The first game of the tournament for the Rebels was Saturday afternoon when they faced off against Blyth/Brussels at the Southampton Coliseum.    Blyth was the first to get on the board...but the Rebels answered back with two quick goals early in the 3rd.  Gabby McNabb scored first with Rachel Mallette & Renee Farrow awarded the assists.  Kirsten Sutter put us in the lead only 30 seconds later with Jessica Moran assisting.  The Rebels went on to win the game 2:1.  Due to hard work and leadership Jessica Moran was awarded the Rebel MVP.

Game two saw TCDMHA battle the Kincardine Kinucks.  Strong defensive play by our fab five on defence and great pressure on the Kincardine net by all three forward lines were the dominate factors in this game.  After 32 minutes of hard fought action the game ended in a 0:0 tie...putting the Rebels in first place overall heading into the finals!!  After a great game between the posts Emily Roney was awarded the Rebel MVP of the game.

The championship final had the Rebels meeting the Blyth/Brussels squad once again.  Gabby McNabb was on fire with two awesome goals in the third to give the Rebels the 2:0 victory and the title of WOAA Pee Wee Girls Champs.  Hannah Mustard recorded the shut-out.  After dazzling the crowd with her offensive play Gabby McNabb was awarded the Rebel MVP of the game.

Congratulations to an incredible group of young ladies, a great coaching staff & last but certainly not least an unbelievably supportive set of parents!!  Together we have come so far and achieved great things J

The pee wee girls now have their sights set on Ottawa as they vie for the title of Provincial Champions April 4th-7th!!

Good Luck Ladies & GO REBELS GO!!!!!
