NEWS FROM PROVINICALS
The TCDMHA “Chatsworth Legion Branch 464” Pee Wee C Girls arrived safely in Ottawa, and found alot more ONE WAY streets than some of our parents are accustomed to driving on in Keady

Game 1 put the Rebels against the Sudbury Wolves.

The girls played a great game this afternoon against the Sudbury Wolves.  The first 2 periods were scoreless, but Sudbury managed to get around our defence in the 3rd and scored 3.  We had several chances to score too, but didn't get as lucky.  Emily played awesome in the net.

These girls may have had to missed a day of school but got an opportunity to learn from an amazing guided tour of the Parliament Building this morning by Larry Miller (and presented him with his Rebels jersey). The girls managed to find lots of photo opportunities too.

Good Luck on Day 2 against the home team Nepean Wildcats.

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
