REGULAR SEASON ENDS WITH A WIN
The TCDMHA “Chatsworth Legion Branch 464” Pee Wee C Girls end the 2012/2013 regular season with a win.  Hosting Georgian Shores Tuesday evening in Keady the Rebels wowed the crowd with an impressive victory!

Gabby McNabb (assisted by Erica McComb & Rachel Mallette) opened up the scoring and Kassey Mustard (assisted by Ashyln Mackison & Grace Kivell) finished off the first period with another point for the home team.
The second period saw goals from Erica McComb (x2) & Rachel Mallette giving the ladies a 5 to 0 lead heading into the 3rd period.  Gabby McNabb (x2) & Rachel Mallette were awarded assists.
Although the Lightening was able to find the back of our net late in the third the Rebels held on to take the game 5:1.  Way to go Rebels!!

These young ladies are now off to the Silver Stick Tournament in Saugeen Shores this weekend before they settle into their provincial play-downs...with their sights set on Ottawa in April!!

Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
