On February 13th the TCDMHA Rebels played the Bruce Peninsula Northstars.
Coming off a win, the Rebels were ready for a another and were determined to put on a show.
They played a great first period and pulled ahead with a 2-0 lead thanks to (#11)Kody Cook and (#2)Easton Croft with (#4)Jhett McKee assisting both goals and (#3)Neil Gilchrist assisting the 2nd goal.
Unfortunately during the 2nd period the Northstars scored 3 goals and pulled ahead by 1. This only made the Rebels play better though as they really wanted this win.
In the 3rd period, (#5)Trevor McCarthy tied the game up with the help of (#13)Hunter McComb.
The tied score meant they had to go into an overtime and it did not disappoint. The Rebels had many good shots and saves and many tense moments but even after the game was extended, the score remained at 3-3.
The Rebels were hoping for a good game and that’s exactly what they got. There were many nail-biting moments and overall the Rebels played very well. Now they are preparing for their next game.
