he TCDMHA rebels played the Bruce Peninsula Northstars in an away game on February 10th.
Even though they came up short the previous game, the rebels were ready for a fresh start and a new game.
During the first period, the rebels played amazing and kept pace with the Northstars. It wasn’t until the the second period that the opposing team managed to scored 2 goals before Trevor McCarthy made it 2-1 with an assist from Finlay Johnson. Unfortunately, the Northstars got 3 more goals before the 2nd period ended.
With a score of 5-1, the Rebels kept fighting and turned the 3rd period into a prime example of why you should never give up. In the first half of the period, Kody Cook scored not once, but twice with less than 10 seconds between each goal (assists from Trevor McCarthy, Easton Croft and Neil Gilchrist). Then, with a minute left in the period, Finlay Johnson got the Rebels another goal with an assist from Neil Gilchrist.
Even though the Rebels came up a goal short, they never gave up.
