Rebels Continue Their Winning Ways!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantam LL played the Kincardine Kinucks on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at the Tiverton Arena. This was the first game of the playoffs for the Rebels. Kincardine was coming off of a big playoff win against Owen Sound the night before.
Javier Koeslag was in net for the Rebels for this game. Aiden Callahan-Cummins got down to business right away, scoring on a backhand at 9:12 in Period One. Robert LaFond added some momentum to the Rebels' team when he scored from far out at 6:08 in the same period.
The score remained at 2 - 0 for much of the remainder of the game. Kincardine scored at 10:16 in Period Three but were unable to score again, even when they pulled their goalie. Javier Koeslag stopped pucks that came from all angles, heights, and distances as Kincardine tried to throw everything they had at the net.
Final Score: Rebels 2, Kinucks 1
