The Rebels Continue to Work as a Team!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantam LL played the Shallow Lake Lakers on Thursday, February 20th, 2020 at the Keady Arena.
Wyatt Garren was in net for the Rebels for this playoff game. Period One belonged to the Rebels. Jackson Greig opened the scoring at 6:53, assisted by Emmitt Jackson.
Jake Oatt scored the next goal less than a minute later, assisted by Aiden Callahan-Cummins. Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored the next goal at 2:34, assisted by Layne Edwards. Shallow Lake tried to get something going but were held scoreless in Period One. The defence and the goalie ensured that all attempts on the net were shut down.
Aiden Callahan-Cummins scored his second goal of the game at 10:49 in Period Two, unassisted. Shallow Lake scored their first goal of the game at 2:45 and the period ended with a score of 4 - 1.
Jeffrey Rodger scored at 8:54 in Period Three, assisted by Emmitt Jackson. Shallow Lake responded at 6:35. The Rebels were not done yet. Jackson Greig scored his second goal of the game at 4:54, assisted by Maverick Lacey. The defensive lines took care of the rest and no more goals were scored by either team.
