Brothers Sheldon and Jeffrey Rodger Get Things Done!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantam LL played the Kincardine Kinucks on November 23rd, 2019 in a rare Saturday game at the Tara Arena. The Rebels played the Kinucks in Kincardine, earlier this month, so they knew what they were up against.
The Rebels got off to a good start, scoring the first goal of the game at 5:13 in Period 1. Sheldon Rodger scored this goal, assisted by his brother Jeffrey Rodger and by Aiden Callahan-Cummins.
Kincardine tied things up early in Period 2. Wyatt Garren was between the pipes for the Rebels and he made saves with his stick, with his pads, with his face mask, and with his glove. One of his glove saves was so quick and so slick that most of the players on the ice did not know where the puck was and were chasing a non-existent puck into the corner of the rink.
Kincardine scored again at 11:40 in Period 3. The Rebels battled hard and tied things up at 4:47 with a goal from Emmett Jackson, assisted by Layne Edwards.
Final Score: Rebels 2, Kinucks 2
