It All Came Down to Period 3!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantam LL played the Saugeen Shores Storm #1 on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Keady Arena. This was the Rebel's second game of the season and they were looking for a win.Wyatt Garren was in net for the Rebels and he was a wall throughout the entire game.
This match got underway with two closely matched teams. Both goalies demonstrated moves that one would normally see in the OHL. The play was very exciting. Opportunities were created, the defence shut things down at both ends. Neither team was able to get the upper hand in the first two periods of play.
In Period 3, The Storm scored at 14:11 and again at 12:48. The Rebels did not give up. At 6:01 Jackson Greig scored, assisted by Aiden Callahan-Cummins. The Rebels took control of the game once again and Jackson Greig raced up the ice and delivered another one to the back of the net at 1:39 while the Rebels were shorthanded. This was the final goal of the game.
