DOUBLE FOR JEX!
The Chatsworth Legion Branch 464  PEEWEE B girls travelled to Guelph for their first Lower Lakes Play off game!

This is the first round of possibly 3 playoff series for LLFHL and the girls were able to come out with the win.  The game was scoreless until the 3rd period when Kloey Jex was able to net a goal unassisted.  The girls were defending their lead at this point as we were only up by one but then Jex was off and was able to net a beauty assisted by Meghan Prentice!! This sealed the game with a 2-0 win and Cameryn Gateman Earned the Shutout and was stellar in the net!

We were missing one of our defenseman Georgia Rutter due to injury and we ALL wish her a fast recovery and cant wait to see you at the rink again soon!

Game 2 against Guelph will be in Keady on Feb 11th at 11:00

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
