ON TO ROUND THREE!!
After a very busy weekend the Chatsworth Legion PeeWee B are successful in moving on to the final round of LLFHL!

The first game of the weekend was a long trip to St.Marys on Saturday morning.  The Rebels were going with a win already and were hoping to get the second win of the series to have us move on but St.Mary’s had a different plan for us.

Both team were there to battle and the Rebels were the first to score with a blazing shot from Brooke Farrow from the point assisted by Tara Meikle and Summer Roney. That would be the only goal for the team but St.Marys would be successful in netting 3 on the Rebels to steal the win and tie up the series!

It was then back to home for game 3 in our home barn!  With Susan Moran there with music and Kenny Hutchinson with an air horn and a crazy amount of supporter's the girls were pumped!  The Girls game out hard and fast and it was great to watch!  The game was scoreless until NATALIE MADILL was able to roof the puck into the net assisted by Tara Meikle and Abby Watson.  The fight was on for the team and they were not going to let St.Mary’s score! Finally, in the third we scored another goal buy Tara Meikle assisted by Meghan Prentice! Now with a 2 goal lead and 7 min left in the game we just had to hold it!  The Rebels were battling hard and we had two penalty’s late in the third that left us down to 3 players and the St.Marys Goalie pulled this was putting the pressure on but the Team was strong and fought hard and kept the 2-0 win till the end!  The big shut-out goes to Laura Naves that was stellar in the net!

Next big game for the team is on Tuesday Night in Keady for Provincial Playdown’s game is at 7:30 against Kincardine.

GOOD LUCK TEAM!!
