The Regular Season Ends with a Win!
The Chatsworth Legion PeeWee B Ladies played the last game of their regular season against Kincardine on Saturday.

We had a bit of a wintery drive to Kincardine for this game but that didn't stop the girls.  The first period was a bit slow for our Ladies but once they were warmed up they were able to get a pair of goals in the third.  First goal was scored by Maizy Hutchinson assisted by Summer Roney and Tara Meikle.  Goal number 2 was scored by Tara Meikle and Assisted by Maizy Hutchinson.  Final Score was 2-0 with the shut out going Laura Naves.

Just want to give credit to one other goal that was scored but didn't count as it was off-side but Kaitlyn Nickason had a beauty from the point that the goalie never even saw coming at her!!

The ladies now have their first Round of Lower Lakes playoffs and they will be playing Guelph as well as their OWHA provincial Playdowns against Kincardine.  There is a lot more hockey for these girls so stay tuned for the schedule as it will be posted soon, we are just working out the details.

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
