Tyke, U5/U7, 2015-2016 (TCDMHA)

It was a busy weekend for the Don Crawford Contracting Tyke Rebels with a pair of games.  Despite solid efforts and some timely goaltending, the Rebels dropped both games with identical 6-2 scores.

The Don Crawford Carpentry Tyke Rebels turned in their best all around effort with a big 6-0 win against the Shallow Lake Tykes in Desboro this morning. In a rare game where he didn't get "shell-shocked", Grady Fritsch turned aside all Laker attacks to earn his well deserved first shutout of the season.

The Don Crawford Carpentry Tyke Rebels hosted the Walkerton Capitals Tykes in an entertaining contest in Desboro.  The Rebels scored first when Colton King pounced on a loose puck from Kayden Kirk and shot it past the Capitals goalie. 

The Don Crawford Contracting Tyke Rebels travelled to Hanover to face the Tyke Blues. With lots of ice to work with, the Rebels jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when Colton King went end to end and finished the breakaway goal. Hanover came right back to take a 2-1 lead, but the Rebels kept battling and Billy Catto was able to pick up a loose puck and skate in alone to beat the goalie to tie it up at 2. Rebels goalie Grady Fritsch made save after acrobatic save to keep it close but Hanover was able to pull ahead 6-2. 

The Don Crawford Contracting Tyke Rebels headed to Tara for their season debut vs the AEMHA Tykes on Saturday.  With seven players making their CAREER debuts the Rebels were in tough.  Rebels’ goalie Grady Fritsch was by far the busiest player on the ice, making save after save to keep the score respectable, but in the end the Ice Dogs were able to sneak 6 past him.  Final score 6-0, but a great effort by all and lots of smiles.
