The TCDMHA Edward McNabb Roofing Midget LL Downed Walkerton 6-1 Last night in Chatsworth!!!
This was the first time this season the Rebels have played Walkerton, so the Boy's weren't sure what to expect,
None the Less, only 3 minutes into the first period the Rebels Will McNabb put his team on the scoreboard first with a nifty pass from Will Kavanagh, although there were lots of scoring chances, no more goals were to be had in the first.
In the second period, well... that was another story!!! Walkerton tied up the game in the first minute! putting the Rebels on their heels but not for long as they added 3 of their own to edge Walkerton 4-1!! First Ryley Macleod put one past the Walkerton Netminder with the help of Ryan Graves. THEN James Early wanted in on the action and sniped a good one unassisted! Josh Blackwell decided it was his turn to score unassisted and what a beauty it was!!
The Rebels took control of the Third Period and added yet 2 more goals to finish the game. Matt Woodroffe potted on unassisted and then Kavanagh added one of his own with the help of Will McNabb!
