2 Wins and a loss for the McNabb Roofing Rebels
The TCDMHA Edward McNabb Roofing Midget LL squad had a busy week in hockey, recording 2 wins and a loss....
Game 1: saw the Rebels head to Howick for their second meeting in playoff action, and unfortunately the score didn't end up in their favor::
Scoring for the Rebels in a 7-3 loss was: Evan Longland with 2 (assists to: Will Kavanagh, and Will McNabb) and Kavanagh with one of his own assisted by McNabb and Dawson McNabb)
Game 2: The Rebels hosted Hanover in the first of 2 meetings. there was no goals scored in the first period at all until Late in the second period, after an early flood due to a player from the Rebels getting injured. The Rebels scored 2 goals within 2 minutes of each other..Longland popped the first with the help of Wyatt Sweiger, then Sweiger added his own with the help of James Early.into the third period we went and Dawson McNabb added the final marker unassisted to complete the game. The Rebels netminder Zach Raynsford was solid in net and recorded the shutout.
Game 3: saw the Rebels head to Hanover for their final matchup in round robin playoff action, and the boys didn't disappoint!! coming home with a 3-2 win!! Early netted 2 of the 3 goals, one unassisted and the other with help from Longland, while Longland added his own marker with the help of Kavanagh.
Next up the Rebels complete a home and away with Kincardine starting this Saturday .... You got this boys!! Hard work pays off!!!
