Sweiger, Early and Fry oh MY!!!
The TCDMHA Edward McNabb Roofing Midget LL Rebels advance to the WOAA finals after a 4-1 win over Kincardine!!
Thursday night saw the Rebels host the Kincardine squad in what was their last round robin game, the winners would advance to the finals..
After alot of scoring opportunities in the first period, neither team was able to capitalize until the second..
Wyatt Sweiger got the Rebels on the board with assists going to Josh Blackwell and Josh Cunningham.Then 3 minutes later, James Early would add one of his own with the help of Ryan Graves and Kyle Fry. Fry would answer back with one of his own within 2 minutes of Early's goal to edge the Rebels to 3-0. Assists to Sweiger and Early.
Into the 3rd period we went, and Kincardine added what was to be the only goal for them. Then with just 31 seconds left in the period, Early netted his second of the night with the help of Sweiger.
The Midget LL Boys will play against Minto in the WOAA Maroon Finals. But first they are heading to Paris, Ontario for a tournament this weekend!!
