Macleod and McCarthy First of the Season!!!! in 7-0 WIN!
Ryley Macleod and Kelly McCarthy Both Netted their first of the season in a 7-0 win over the Saugeen Shores Storm Tuesday night in Chatsworth!!
The TCDMHA Edward McNabb Roofing Midget LL Rebels started out strong and never gave up!
Period 1 saw Macleod start off the scoring for the Rebels with the help of Josh Cunningham and Wyatt Sweiger.Shortly therafter, Evan Longland added one of his own with some sweet passing from James Early and Matt Woodroffe. THEN David Harrison wanted to get in on some of the scoring action so he potted one in past the Storm goalie unassisted with 2:49 left in the period.
Moving into the second period, the Rebels Netted another 4 more with some fancy footwork and team passing!! First up was Sam Hicks with Will McNabb and Ryan Graves earning the assists, then McCarthy took his shot with a pass from Will Kavanaugh. Finally Will McNabb added the last 2 goals unassisted to bring the tally up to 7.
Zach Raynsford strong performance earned the shut-out!
Everyone on the team worked hard from the 5 Defence strong, awesome goaltending and great forwards! You Boys are coming together!!!
