Midway through the 3rd, the Capitals scored unanswered and then added another on a 4 on 4 with 2 minutes remaining.
Tatem headed for the bench in the final minute to send out another skater, and we ended up going to a 6 on 4 for the final 33 seconds thanks to a tripping penalty for the Capitals.
The Rebels came alive and Erica McComb got the puck in the net with 18 seconds left, with the assist going to Renee Farrow.
They came close, but didn't find the net again in time for the tie. Final score 2 - 1.
