REBELS WIN, REBELS WIN!!
Just look at the sweat and tired faces of these Novice Rebels!! This Desboro Tire Novice LL team hosted Shallow Lake #2 tonight in WOAA action and came away with a 4-1 victory!!
This win was achieved through a whole team effort. With Robert LaFond between the pipes stopping all but one of the Lakers shots. There were Rebels everywhere as they played their positions and pushed the puck up the ice. Karissa Rasmussen opened up the scoring 31 seconds into the game and added her second for the night at the mid-point of the first with a pass from Xander Kirk. Sheldon Rodger slid one past the Lakers goalie at 3:18 of the second with assists going to Jimmy Couch and Anderson McComb. Jimmy would add one of his own later in the third period with Jeffrey Rodger assisting.
Big Win for the Rebels!
Next action is Saturday at 10AM in Desboro where they will face the Shallow Lakers #1 team. Look out Lakers, this is our rink and our puck!!
