Rebels faced a tough Storm
The Desboro Tire Novice LL hosted a tough Saugeen Shores team Saturday morning in Desboro. This was the first game of the playoffs for both teams and even with a full squad the Rebels had a hard time taming the Storm team.

The visitors led 2-0 after the first, but the Rebels fought back to tie it up with Xander Kirk and Jimmy Couch scoring in the second. Saugeen would add another before the end of the second to re-take the lead though.

The third period saw Jackson Grieg score on an end to end rush and we're tied again!! Unfortunately that's all that would find the back of the net for the Rebels. Saugeen added another 3 and the score ended 6-3 for the visiting squad. Goal scorers for the Storm were Hank Vangeel with 2, Ozzie Alpaugh with 2 and Jacob Drummond and Cameron Cumming adding singles.

Also finding their name on the game sheet for the Rebels were Anderson McComb and Grieg each adding an assist.
