Baumber Debuts as Goalie
Jordan Baumber played his first OMHA game in net on Monday, February 3 when the Kuhl Machine Shop Midget Rep Rebels travelled to Flesherton for game 1 in their series against the Golden Hawks. He made some awesome saves and kept the net clean until the third period when Quinn O'Donnell managed to fire a shot past his amazing glove hand. This was the only shot the Hawks would get by Baumber.
The Rebels scored late in the first period, with a shot from the point by Luke Miller, assisted by Graydon McArthur. There was a lot of back and forth action, a 10 minute period of sudden victory overtime, but the game ended a 1-1 tie. Game two is Tuesday, February 4 at 8:15 pm in Flesherton.
