REBELS vs LAKERS RIVALRY
The Rebels faced off at home tonight against a tough rival, the Shallow Lake Lakers.
It was a very close game from start to finish, with the Rebels playing some of their best hockey.
The Lakers scored first to take the lead.
With 1.3 seconds left in the 1st Dalan Frook snapped a beauty off the post and in to tie the game, assisted by Ethan Harrison.
The second period was scoreless, with the Rebels dominating the play in the Lakers end. The Lakers were on their heels, as our Rebels were all over them back-checking and taking away their chances.
The 3rd period was much the same with end to end action, but with only 1:36 to play the Lakers were able to sneak one past our goalie.
Final score, 2-1.
The Rebels face the Saugeen Shores Storm on Saturday in Southampton.
