STILL NO DECISION after 10 Minutes Overtime
The TCDMHA Barrys Construction Atom LL Rebels travelled to Port Elgin for their 2nd playoff game of the season yesterday afternoon.
With a short bench and big ice, this would be a challenge that our mighty Rebels would take in stride.
The first period was scoreless, with a lot of back and forth action as each team tested the other.
Mid-way through the 2nd, Landon Heathers fed Adam Gorman a beautiful pass to allow him to break in on the Storm's goalie and score.
The Rebels kept the Storm at bay until the 3rd period when they were able to break in and tie the game. The rest of the 3rd was filled with chances for the Rebels, but they were not able to take the win.
A 10 minute overtime followed, but the score remained tied at 1.
Our next game is Wednesday night in Wiarton.
