The Gaviller and Co, TCDHMA Bantam Girls C triumphed over
West/Grey B Division Bantam Girls in their Home Opener @ Chatsworth Sunday
afternoon 3-2., with much credit going
to impressive heads up and fast hands by TCDMHA Goal Tender Ceaira Hemistra
Home side winger Emily Moore was first to get a mark on the board half way through the 1st period unassisted. West/Grey was quick to come back with a goal to tie it up by Cassidy Howie.
That wouldn’t last long with quick skating and stick handling by Left Winger Katie Brancati, assisted by Morgan Williamson . West/Grey managed to squeak another one by our goalie, scored by Emma Eckenswilles.
Morgan Williamson was again in the right place at the right time to put the puck in the net to take the lead, assisted by Rachel Aitcheson. No score in the 3rd period.
Next home games for these ladies are Friday night the 26th in Exhibition action and League competion Sunday the 28th at 4:30 pm against Blyth/Brussels.
