First win and shutout of the season:
Lucknow was in Chatty on Thursday the 3rd and the boys were keen to put a
"W" in the win column.
Right from the opening faceoff the guys were flying taking the play to Lucknow early and often. The guys put
together a solid effort that blended some solid team work with strong play both on and away from the puck. The Rebels dominated the shot counter by a margin of 23 to 11 and most of Lucknow's shots were from tough angles.
When tested though Ryley was up for the challenge he kept his focus and earned his first shutout of the season. The final was 1-0 and you have to hand it to the Lucknow tender for keeping things close because it could have easily got out of hand.
Our lone tally came early in the second when Wyatt Sweiger buried a nice goal five hole on a neat little set up from Austin Kuhl.
