The chippy affair in Blyth:
On October the 20th the boys traveled down to Blyth for a Sunday night game,
Special teams got a real workout.
It turned out to be a penalty filled game that was cut short by curfew. Blyth scored all three of their goals in the 2nd period our goals came off the sticks of Jacob Roney in the second and Evan Kuhl in the third. The curfew rule came into play with exactly 8 minutes remaining in the third just as things were getting very interesting.
Ryley Macleod faced 22 shots in a another solid effort. It was a fast paced game but hard for either team to get any fluid play as either team was either killing a penalty or working the power play. The guys showed great spirit and hung right in there shot for shot and hit for hit with a solid Blyth team.
Good work guys and fun to watch. Nice Job Owen Torrie in his first action of the season with the big kids.
