SCHWARTZ NETS HAT TRICK IN WIN OVER WILD
The Harold Sutherland Pee Wee Rep team defeated the
Bruce Peninsula Wild Sunday in a penalty filled game at the Keady arena.
The teams played a tight checking game with chances at both ends, but neither team scored until the 2nd period. Nathan Schwartz scored a hat trick and added an assist in the 7-3 shootout. (I think he was going for a Gordie Howe hat trick!) Mitch McComb added 2 goals, one of them short-handed. Owen Torrie finished the day with a goal and an assist. Evan Mielhausen added to the scoring with a 1 goal. Assist to Josh Batterman and Matt Woodroffe. Branden Gilbert scored a hat trick for the Wild.
