REBELS DEFEAT HUSKIES
The Harold Sutherland Pee Wee Reps traveled to Durham on
Saturday for their second game of the 2011-2012 Season.
After a little bit of a slow start they went to the dressing room after the 2nd period down only 1 goal, thanks to another great start by Ty Mountain in net.
A little motivational speech by the coaches, the boys came out ready in the 3rd. The water had hardly frozen from the Zamboni when Evan Mielhausen scored on a breakaway assisted by Josh Batterman and David Harrison. The play went back and forth for most of the period until Josh Batterman scored with just under 6 minutes left in the game, assist by Dakota Rody when he took a shot from the slot. The other assist went to Zack Vokes who played another solid game on the blue line.

The Rebels are back on the road when they travel to Lucknow on Wednesday before returning to Keady for their home opener on Sunday Oct 23rd @ 1:30 when the Lakers make their first visit of the season.
