MORAN Player of the Game in OWHA Playoff Game
The TCDMHA "Homelife/Bayside Realty" Atom Girls Rebels
hosted the Kincardine Kinucks on Saturday in their final meeting of the
playdowns. Despite battling hard, the Rebels were unable to contain the Kinucks
snipers, eventually falling 6-0
Alyssa Andrews factored into all six of the winning squad's goals, with three unassisted goals and three assists on markers from Emma Twolan (two) and Georgia Tanner.
Rebels defenceman, Morgan Moran, earned the player-of-the-game nod from her coaches for the second time this week. Moran stripped the puck from Kincardine players on several occasions to diffuse scoring chances.
The Rebels will see their next playoff action on Sunday, the 19th when they take on the Owen Sound Ice Hawks at the Coliseum.
