Atom Girls Rebels finish OWHA playdowns
The TCDMHA "Homelife/Bayside Realty" Atom Girls Rebels
were defeated 3-0 at the hands of the Owen Sound Ice Hawks in their final
playown game of the season on Sunday.
Despite carrying the play for much of the game, the Rebels were unable to slip one by Owen Sound goalie, Arenn Osadzuk. Rebels' goalie, Grace Vokes, was solid in net at the other end of the ice, earning her team's player-of-the-game award.
Lauren Radbourne scored all three goals for the Ice Hawks, with Kate Patton picking up two assists.
Rebels will now prepare for their year-end tournament in Ayton the first weekend in March.
