ACTION-PACKED EXCITING GAME FOR ATOM GIRLS
The TCDMHA Homelife Bayside Realty Atom Girls Rebels
came up just short, losing 1-0 in an exciting, action-packed game versus the
Normanby Wildcats in Ayton today
Both teams had numerous chances, but goalies Olivia Schlosser (Wildcats) and Grace Vokes (Rebels) kept the game scoreless until midway through the third period when Bailey Piercey managed to just slip one by Vokes.
Grace Kivell earned the Rebels' "hardest working player of the game" award, as she generated numerous scoring chances for the team. Though the much-coveted, pink hard hat went to Kivell on this day, it could just as easily have gone to any one of the other girls...it was a real team effort, with many of the girls playing their best games of the season.
Rebels' next action is Wednesday night at home versus Arran-Elderslie.
