Rebels Lose a Nailbiter
The Township of Chatsworth Desboro Tire Novice Local League team lost 2-1 to the
Shallow Lake #1 Novice Lakers on Tuesday night in Desboro
Shallow Lake opened the scoring in the first period with a goal by Kaiden Henrich with an assist from Zachary Palmer. The Rebels responded early in the second period with a goal by Dalan Frook. Late in the second period Shallow Lake regained the lead with an unassisted goal by Jake Ross.
In the third period the goalies took over with Rebel's goalie Owen Mackison making some incredible saves to keep the Rebels in the hunt. Shallow Lake's Ben Redmond kept the Rebels off the board in the final period which included a barage of shots and chances in the final minute when the Rebels pulled the goalie for an extra attacker.
Great game from both teams, it could of went either way.
