On Sunday the Rebels travelled to the Plex in Port Elgin to square off against the Saugeen Shores Storm Noviec#1. It was a tough defensive game and the Desboro Tire Novices came away with a 2-1 win.

The Storm opened the scoring in the first with a goal by Joseph Anderson, assisted by Joey Ackert and Jacob Thornley. The Rebels would tie the game before the first period ended on a goal by Dalan Frook, assisted by William Hoare. Landon Heathers would break in on the Storm net in the second to give the Rebels the lead. Owen Mackison would shut the Storm out from there with some great goaltending, giving the Rebels the win.

With the win the Novice Local League Rebels have started the season with four wins. Great effort team!!!
