NO O.T. NEEDED THIS TIME !
The 'Air-Tech Mechanical' BANTAM REP boys are 3 for 3 with 1 game to go in their WOAA Lockridge Group B Playdowns after defeating Mount Forest on Tuesday night in Chatsworth.

After the schooling the boys got in Norwich last weekend, they put what they learned to work against the Rams.
Every one of these REBELS came out fast, matched Mount Forest's physical style of play and found themselves up by 2 goals by the end of the 1st period.
Calvin Stewart set up the first one with a pass out front that Mitch Faust picked up and buried far side at 7:41.  Jordan Beirnes and Wyatt Golem forced a turn over by the Rams' bench, and Austin McComb went in on a breakaway to score top corner at 6:34.

The 2nd period saw our boys successfully kill off a couple of penalties and earn another point on the board.
Jake Moran carried the puck around behind the net and put a pass on the waiting stick of Faust who was ready for the one-timer to the back of the net at 3:38, assist going to Stewart.  The Rams answered back on a breakaway at 2:10, and the REBELS headed to the room with a 3 - 1 lead.

Mount Forest got off to a strong start in the 3rd and narrowed our lead with a goal at 10:05, but less than a minute later, Stewart won the battle for the puck in the corner, Faust picked it up and found Hunter Schultz who went top shelf at 9:27.
The clock ran down with the play going end to end.  The Rams pulled their goalie in the final minute for the man advantage, but that long stick of Curtis Wade's got control of the puck and found Moran ready to head into the offensive zone.  Moran (who may or may not have known the net was empty) fired it straight on target for the final nail in the Rams' coffin.
Final Score: Rebels 5 - Rams 2

It sounds like a rainy weekend ahead, so stay dry and fill the CHATSWORTH ARENA on Saturday night at 7pm and Sunday afternoon at 3pm ...
when the Norwich Knighthawks IMG_1283.PNG come to town for GAME 3 and 4 of the OMHA SEMI-FINAL SERIES.
Last weekend, their arena was full of cheering fans, booming music and loud horns ... so let's show Norwich what CHATTY is made of!!!!
