REBELS TAKE GAME 2 . . .
The 'Air-Tech Mechanical' BANTAM REP boys are now up 2 games in the 5 game WOAA Lockridge Division Championship Final, after defeating the West Grey Warriors tonight in Ayton.
We barely got to our seats before Austin McComb got the REBELS on the board, assisted by Austin King at 14:41.
Hunter Schultz passed back to Jack Kivell at the point who lined up a hard shot right on net at 3:48, and the REBELS ended the 1st period up by 2.
The lone goal of the 2nd period came with a Warrior behind our unsuspecting defencemen that received a long pass and went in alone and scored.
The 3rd period was more of the same physical, end to end action. As our power-play was about to expire, Kinger battled for the puck behind the Warriors' net, Wyatt Golem picked it up and passed out front for McComb's one-timer at 4:18.
Both Lawson Cumming and the Warriors' goal tender finished off strong, and the final score remained ...
