FAUST earns the Hat-Trick . . .
The 'Air-Tech Mechanical' BANTAM REP Rebels earned their 6th straight WIN of 2017 with a 7 - 3 victory in Hanover on Sunday night.

This was their first game of the WOAA Lockridge Division Playdown (which involves a home & away against Hanover and Mount Forest).
The first two periods went back and forth, before the Rebels took control of the 3rd.
Hunter Schultz got the Rebels on the scoreboard just 15 seconds after the puck dropped, assisted by Mitch Faust.
The Falcon's pushed Lawson and the puck into the net a couple of minutes later to tie it up, but the Rebels came back with a display of passing up the ice from Mitch Stevens, to Faust, over to Schultz and then back to Faust at the net for the far side goal at 5:20.
The Falcons tied it up again midway through the 2nd period, but Austin McComb answered right back with a slap shot from the slot that flew high into the net at 5:33.
Hanover tied it up a 3rd time with a breakaway and short-handed goal at 2:54, but Faust managed to sneak another one in for the Rebels before the buzzer, assisted by Schultz and Calvin Stewart, to end the period up 4 - 3.

The Rebels started the 3rd period with a man advantage and Faust capitalized on that by picking the puck up from Stevens and going end to end to complete his hat-trick!
The roles were reversed a couple of minutes later with the Rebels being down a man, but that didn't stop Austin King as he took the puck in and passed over to McComb for the shot at 10:22.
Kinger finished off the scoring with a back door shot, that snuck behind the Falcons' goalie (for the 2nd time in 2 games), assisted by McComb at 7:43.

Final score 7 - 3

The boys start their 2nd Round of OMHA Playdowns TONIGHT in Chatsworth when they host Central Perth at 7:00pm.
Come on out and cheer them on!
