The Barry's Construction Rebels earned an important win in league play defeating Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs White in a convincing 5-1 victory. After suffering two tough losses in the Saturday tournament they came out strong Sunday in Tara.
Aiden Fluney's one timer, from a great play by Andersen McComb, started off the scoring. Aiden Callahan-Cummins earned player of the game for his efforts digging in front if the net. He was also rewarded with two goals. Xander Kirk stepped up his game to another level and netted two as well.
Our defensive team remained very consistent and limited their opponent's scoring chances. This game completes their regular season action. They face Georgian Shores Saturday in exhibition play as they prepare for the play offs.
