The Novice C Rebel girls hosted the Owen Sound Ice Hawks (House League) team in exhibition in Desboro this morning. It was a great team effort and all the girls hard work is finally starting to pay off with many of girls on this team recording their first goals and assists of the season.
Rory Jex, Hennessy Koeslag, Chloe Stephens and Jessa Rutter each received their first goals of the season! In addition, Bree Wilkins scored two goals. Tina Johnson and Claire Torrie each added a single. Meanwhile Mylee Snyder, Jessa Rutter, Addison Teeter, Jessica Clark, Chloe Stephens and Claire Torrie all recorded assists for the first time this season with Hennessy Koeslag adding two assists as well.
Jalaynah Moore played great as our goalie made some stellar saves to earn her first shutout with help from a strong defensive front from Lila Warrilow, Jessa Rutter, Shaelynn McKee and Jessica Clark.
