GOOD THINGS COME IN 3's . . .
Grace Kivell was on fire and earned herself a hat-trick in the first 12.5 minutes . . . as the 'Country Charm Mennonite Furniture' Bantam C Girls shut-out the South Bruce Blades in Chatsworth on Friday night!
Ashlynn Stephenson was solid in net for the Rebels once again, letting everyone breath a bit easier as the shots came her way.
The 1st period went back and forth with the defence at both ends getting their workout.
Breaking out of their own end midway through the period,
Jade Gilchrist got the puck up to
Kirsten Sutter. In a 2 on 1, Sutter sent it across to
Grace Kivell who skated in and fired high in the net at 6:54.
Just over a minute later,
Kenna McKee sent the puck out of our end, up to
Sutter, onto
Jade and once again found
Grace charging to the net with another shot top corner.
This line struck again at 12:35 in the 2nd like TIC-TAC-TOE,
Jade to
Sutter to
Grace.
The Blades defence came alive and the Rebels were kept off the scoreboard, until
Morgan Moran got a shot through from the blue line at 5:56 assisted by
Jade and
Reese Wilkins.
The game ended with a final score of 4 - 0.
The girls head to Mount Forest this afternoon to meet the Rams.
Good Luck Rebels ... and enjoy your last game Reese!
