Midget Girls Split the Weekend
The TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre Midget Rebel Girls blanked the Owen Sound Ice Hawks 6-0 at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre last Saturday. Morgan Williamson and Emily Moore both netted 2, while Grayce Stephen and Sklyar Golem contributed one a piece. Ceaira Hiemstra was in net for the shutout.
The Rebels hosted Bruce Peninsula on Sunday evening. Morgan Williamson scored for the Rebels midway through the first. They were able to fend off Bruce Peninsula until early in the third when Lexi Clark put one past Amandah Gill to tie it up. It was a hard fought battle, but the Rebels fell short when Courtney Hepburn scored, leading to a 2-1 loss for the Rebels.
