Midget Girls Defeat South Bruce
The TCDMHA Town & Country Garden Centre Midget Rebel Girls squeaked out a 2-1 victory over South Bruce in the second game of their OWHA play down action on Sunday night. Summer Ireland put South Bruce on the board first in the third period, but Amanda Zettle quickly answered back for the Rebels to tie it up.
The Rebels poured it on late in the third and Emily Moore made a textbook one-timer on a nice pass from Grayce Stephen for the winning goal. The Rebels are gearing up for game 3 against their long time rivals from Kincardine on Wednesday night at 7:30pm in Chatsworth. Come on out and cheer on our girls.
