Batterman Scores Game Winner
Josh Batterman scored the game winning goal for the Kuhl Machine Shop Midget Rebels on Monday night in Chatsworth.
Kai Hiemstra opened the scoring for the Rebels (assisted by Jordan Baumber) late in the first period. Josh Batterman scored from the slot after a great pass by Baumber, who received the puck from Nathan Scwartz to give the Rebels a 2 - 0 lead. Minto scored on a power play to narrow the margin but were unable to get the puck past netminder Zach Raynsford again.
The Rebels still need to face off one more time against BCH and Minto to determine who will play for the Cruickshank trophy in WOAA league play.
