Kuhl Machine Shop Rebels to Play in Quarter Finals
The Township of Chatsworth Kuhl Machine Shop Midget Rep Rebels hosted the Arthur Vipers for game four of their OMHA DD Playdowns on Friday evening. The Kuhl Machine Shop Rebels defeated the Vipers by a score of 4-1 to move on to the quarter finals against Zurich.
The Rebels opened the scoring in the first period on a power play goal by Brendan Batterman (assisted by Kai Hiemstra and Connor McCauley). The score remained one nothing until early in the third period when the Rebels widened the margin with a goal by Kai Hiemstra (assisted by Joel Delleman and Connor McCauley). Joel Delleman then made the score 3-0, with an assist to Cameron Stryker. Marshall Green from the Vipers was able to put the puck past netminder Zach Raynsford to make the score 3-1. In an attempt to score another goal, the Vipers pulled their goalie with 1:16 left in the game but Joel Delleman (assisted by Connor McCauley and Morgan Ottewell) was able to score his second goal of the game to secure the victory for the Rebels.
